Sunday of Great Lent \u2013 the Sunday of Saint Mary of Egypt, when the memory of Saint Artemon, Bishop of Seleucia; Venerable Jacob the Confessor; the Holy Hieromartyr Parthenios, Patriarch of Constantinople; the commemoration of the miracle at the Pechersk Monastery; and Venerable Zacharias is celebrated \u2013 at the church community of &#8220;Sveta Nedela&#8221; in Gold Coast, the head priest of the church, Father Aleksandar Popov, in concelebration with Fr Aleksandr Paramonov from the Russian Church, served the Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great.<\/p>\n<p>A large number of faithful took part in the Liturgy, giving thanks to God and partaking of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian Orthodox Male Choir of Australia sang during the Liturgy, filling the hearts of those present with harmonious melodies.<\/p>\n<p>After the service, there was a communal gathering with a coffee hour in the church hall, followed by a concert of Lenten Spiritual Hymns performed
