\u0411\u0430\u0434\u043d\u0438\u043a!<\/p>\n<p>\/\/\/\/<\/p>\n<p>CHRISTMAS EVE (BADNIK) AT MOC \u201cHOLY THEOTOKOS\u201d IN NEWCASTLE<\/p>\n<p>On 6 January 2025, on the eve of the great Christian feast of the Nativity of Christ \u2013 Christmas, Christmas Eve (Badnik) was prayerfully and solemnly observed at the Macedonian Orthodox Church \u201cHoly Theotokos\u201d in Newcastle.<\/p>\n<p>A large number of faithful gathered in the church, coming together with reverence and spiritual joy to participate in the communal prayers and to prepare for the celebration of Christ\u2019s Nativity. In a prayerful atmosphere, supplications were offered for peace, health, and God\u2019s blessing upon families, as well as for the spiritual strengthening of the Macedonian Orthodox community in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Special joy was brought by the participation of the children, who, through Christmas Eve songs and greetings, announced the coming of the Christ Child, bearing witness that faith and tradition continue to live on and are being passed on to future generations. Following the prayer service, the faithful continued with fraternal fellowship in the spirit of the traditional Macedonian Badnik customs.<\/p>\n<p>This Christmas Eve gathering once again affirmed the church as a true spiritual home and a place of unity for our people in the diaspora, where faith, togetherness, and love for God and neighbour are inseparably united.<\/p>\n<p>Christ is born \u2013
