2026, when the Holy Orthodox Church prayerfully commemorates the Venerable Martyr Paraskeva \u2013 St Petka, the patronal feast was solemnly celebrated at the church dedicated to her in Rockdale, Sydney.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the feast, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Father Gavril (Galev), concelebrated by Archpriest Aleksandar Ivanovski, Archpriest Tome Mladenovski, and the parish priest of the church, Father Vlado Nedeski.<\/p>\n<p>A special spiritual joy and great blessing for the church and the faithful present was the visit of the miraculous Abalak Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos from Siberia, brought for this solemn occasion by Father Boris of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR).<\/p>\n<p>The presence of the miraculous icon precisely on the patronal feast of the church was a special blessing for the faithful, who had the opportunity to prayerfully venerate the holy icon and seek the intercession, help, and protection of the Most Holy Theotokos.<\/p>\n<p>Following the conclusion of the festive Divine Liturgy and the prayerful celebration in honour of St Petka, the festivities continued in the church hall, where a festive Slava meal of fellowship and love was offered to the clergy, faithful, and all guests present.<\/p>\n<p>Through the prayers of the Venerable Martyr Paraskeva \u2013 St Petka, and under the maternal protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, may the Lord preserve and bless this holy church, its clergy, parish community, and all the faithful.<\/p>\n<p>May the patronal feast be blessed by
