Forgiveness is a door that opens once we forgive and in our heart we receive God and the one we have forgiven. But if we don&#8217;t forgive someone, it means Christ is out of our heart and we have nothing to do with Christ.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Forgiveness is reconciliation, first with Christ, and then with your close ones. If Christ identifies with each one of us, and if we forgive the youngest, lowest and most humiliated, then we are in peace with Christ. If we don&#8217;t forgive, then we are not in peace with Christ. It&#8217;s simple.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Forgiveness is freedom. If we don&#8217;t forgive, anger, apathy, coldness, bad wishes or passions, the bad feelings and intentions, in fact everything that is sinful and bad will remain in us, until that moment we forgive. We will then get rid of them. When the heart frees through forgiveness, blessing grows, joy is immeasurable and love is effable.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Otherwise, we&#8217;ll carry our weight, cold, darkness inside us, and it&#8217;s a burden on us and torments us. If we do not forgive it is even scarier that weight, cold and darkness continues after our death in eternal anguish.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It&#8217;s not easy to forgive because of our fallen and trapped by passions human nature. It&#8217;s difficult to forgive because we are trapped from the passion of high opinion for ourself, pride, or fear of humiliating our own ego.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>But how do we fight?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Simple &#8211; Jesus\u2019 love should be our example and measure. He came down and suffered for us sinners, and was crucified so we can do the same for Him and the others. At the beginning of our spiritual growth, when we clean the heart out of passions, it&#8217;s hard to forgive immediately. The most important thing for us is to want and try to forgive. It&#8217;s very important to keep fighting and not surrender. This is how we&#8217;ll see if we love Christ and how much we love Him. If we can forgive for a shorter period, it means we&#8217;re closer to him, and vice versa.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To forgive we should not seek human justice, but God who is mercy. To forgive, it takes God&#8217;s grace. Forgiveness is the presence of grace. May God calm us and God&#8217;s blessing move into us so that we have the strength to forgive.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>May God forgive us all. I ask forgiveness of all of you that I have wronged and I also forgive anyone who has wronged me.
