THE DIOCESE OF AUSTRALIA – SYDNEY CONGRATULATES ARCHBISHOP STEFAN ON THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS EPISCOPAL CONSECRATION
His Beatitude Stefan, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, was born on 1 May 1955 in the village of Dobrushevo, in the Bitola region. He was consecrated as a bishop on 12 July 1986, and in October 1999 he was elected and enthroned as Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric. This year marks a significant jubilee—the 40th anniversary of his episcopal consecration (1986–2026).
On this occasion, the Diocesan Administrative Board of the Diocese of Australia – Sydney, on behalf of the honourable clergy and the faithful, conveyed a congratulatory message to His Beatitude, Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric and Administrator of the Diocese of Australia – Sydney, as follows:

On behalf of the Diocesan Administrative Board, the clergy and the faithful of the Macedonian Orthodox Diocese of Australia – Sydney, we extend our congratulations on the significant jubilee—the 40th anniversary of Your episcopal consecration.
Four decades of episcopal ministry bear witness to a life dedicated to the service of Christ and His Holy Church. We thank the All-Merciful God for the years of Your episcopal ministry and offer our prayers that He may continue to grant You good health, spiritual strength, wisdom and grace in the fulfilment of Your archpastoral ministry.
May our Lord Jesus Christ, through the prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos and all the saints, strengthen and preserve You for many more years, for the good and advancement of our Holy Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric.
